At Bright Beginnings, we understand that taking the first step towards therapy can be challenging, but it is a courageous step towards a brighter future. Our team of psychologists are dedicated to helping you navigate life's complexities.

We do not have on-site HICAPS claiming, however you if eligible you can claim your sessions directly through your private health insurer.
At Bright Beginnings, we complete assessments for recommendation, diagnostic and NDIS purposes.
Assessments help identify your strengths and weakness, plan intervention and make recommendations for support at school or university. Our psychologists also complete diagnostic testing to explore underlying causes of emotional, behavioural or social difficulties. At our Coorparoo clinic, we are able to assess:
Typically assessments includes an initial assessment appointment, a number of testing appointments, completion of questionnaires and a feedback appointment. At times, an observation of children within an education setting may be recommended.

The pathway to become a psychologist is challenging and being able to contribute to someone’s development as a psychologist is a special role to play. Our psychologists are Board Approved Supervisors who support provisional psychologists through their 4+2 and 5+1 Internship Program. Our supervisors are available for both primary supervision, secondary supervision or group supervision.
Our supervisors are passionate about contributing to the learning and growth of others through support and guidance as well as sharing and enhancing knowledge in a collaborative, non-judgmental, kind, ethical and professional manner.
Our supervisors are available for one off supervision sessions, case report review and group supervision. Bright Beginnings also provides peer supervision to early career psychologists or those working within the mental health field.
